Prayer for Peace

Ladies: Please join me in lifting up our fellow stepmom sisters who are really struggling with relationships in their families.

Heavenly Father, we come to You today to lift up our sisters. There are so many great things You have done for us. We have seen healed marriages, healed health issues, steps forward on our families and we do our best to focus on the small victories instead of focusing on the challenges. We know that Your word promises that we can have peace through the storm, if we ask. So we come to You today, Father, and ask for peace. Please cover all of our stepmom sisters in Your peace today. Wrap Your arms around them and show them that You are near. Help them to understand that although they may be going through the storm, they don't have to carry the burden. Your yolk is easy. Teach us what that means, Lord. Help us to cast our cares upon You so that we may feel Your promised peace. Help us to turn to You when things seem helpless and to encourage each other to do the same. Open our eyes and soften our hearts toward the mom. We know that she is Your daughter too and that You love her just the same as You love us. Thank you for never giving up on us, and for never turning Your back toward us. Teach us, comfort us and help us grow. We desire to be Your window, so that others may turn to You. We are Your vessel. Help us to serve Your kingdom. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
