Beauty out of Ashes

It's safe to say that all of us have experienced hardships, pain and suffering. In fact, there are some of us who at this very moment are experiencing pain and suffering and wondering if it will ever end. Is there a purpose in all of this? What's the point Lord?

I want you to take a personal inventory of your walk with God. Look back at the times when you were broken, destitute, disparaged and even hopeless. Have you been there? I have, and it's one of the hardest places to be in. But, I'm not there anymore. Thank God. God has taken me and walked me through those broken places and made beauty out of ashes. (Isaiah 61:3)
Today, dear sister, you are not where you were! No, not even last year or yesterday. Isn't that wonderful of God to continue to love us and walk with us and to be our friend, despite our selfishness and lack of Faith? Gosh, what an awesome God we serve!

I was reminded today that this journey that I'm on is not just about me and the four walls of my own little world. It's far greater than that! Isn't that an awesome thought? God wants to use you for His purpose but you've got to let Him. What if there's a greater purpose you could be living outside of your own little world? (Taken from Matthew West song; My Own Little World)
I am so grateful that God found me, saved me and allowed me to walk through the pain to see His greater purpose. Oh sweet Stepmama's, there is a greater purpose and you are part of it but you've got to let Him in and allow Him to show you His greater purpose for you!

Do you know Jesus? Have you asked him to come into your heart and take over, committing your life, your family and your dreams to Him? Today is the day. Invite Him in and allow him to heal your wounds, to redeem and restore you from ashes into His beauty. Ask Him to forgive you for living for you and live for Him. God will unfold the most beautiful story, your true calling and your destiny. Will you trust Him today? We invite you.

Prayer of Salvation:
God, I know that, in my lifetime, I have not always lived for you and that I have sinned by putting myself and my desires first. Please forgive me. I know you have plans for me, plans to prosper me and not harm me, plans for my future and a destiny. I want to live in those plans. I am choosing now to accept Jesus into my heart. I am eternally grateful for his sacrifice he made for me on the cross so that I could live eternally with him. Fill me now with your Holy Spirit and allow me to live as you would have me live, according to your will for my life. Give me the strength to overcome temptations and may they not take hold in my life and control me any longer. I put myself in your hands, today. Thank you Jesus, for this gift. In your name I pray, Amen.
